What is it?
- Development Discussion (DD hereinafter) is a prepared, structured and annually-occuring meeting to avoid having no discussion for an extended period of time.
- During a DD,
- You and the prof. discuss your recent past experiences incl. your time in our studio reviewing your achievements academically & professionally
- We discuss your near future incl. your further studies & jobs making professional development plan
- We give each other feedback to build for a better relationship & a more fruitful environment in our studio
- Each DD takes anywhere between 30 to 45 minutes.
How often?
- DD occurs once every half year
- Everyone is expected to have one once a year (mandatory) or twice a year (optional)
- Thus if you don’t have something to share or discuss immediately, you can wait till the next one (it takes place once every half year)
- With that said, the prof can request some members to have one if there’s a big change in your study/work status or if such change is anticipated. Plus, our newbies are expected to book a slot.
How?
- Here’s the template. You needn’t fill it 100% if some questions are not applicable. You can use either English or Korean.
- (1) Fill it in
- (2) Export it as a PDF
- (3) Send the PDF to the prof. using a Slack DM a day before.
- When there’s an announcement for DD, there will also be a timetable where you can book a slot. Book one.
