Design is related to any field, as design essentially is about building an interface between people and everything else. As a result, psychology is a daily consideration for designers. Hidden Brain helps us understand why we do what we do in such an intriguing way with top scholars.

Freakonomics is journalism meets economics meets provocation. Started off as a worldwide bestseller book, Dubner (and Levitt) built a franchise around the brand. The latest episodes have many new spin-offs, but their classic ones are really thought provoking and good. For instance, "Are You Ready for a Glorious Sunset" talks about terminally ill patients and the choices we make as a whole society. But do not believe what they say or write in their face value, because their orientation is often provocation.

You don't talk economics, you don't talk policy. Get your foot into economics discussion by listening to how economists talk about it. But don't be scared, this one is fun! For example, listen to how four economists used psychology to stop inflation in Brazil – it's a real story!

US politics shape our lives – directly and indirectly. Today Explained is a funky and young take on US politics and its critique towards is often refreshing.

This American Life is what made the podcast renaissance possible. It's a classic but it's always fresh. It's ethnographical, it's investigative, it's about life and it's about money. Its story telling is just incredibly high quality and it has produced the 2nd generation podcast producers that went out and created Planet Money, the Serial, Gimlet Media and so on. One of my favorite episode is "Use only as directed", which is about Tylenol. Fun fact: Ira Glass and Philip Glass are cousins.
