• Masters students and interns
  • In NDS, masters students and interns are require to use their own laptop for projects—this is to reduce the electronic wastes due to fast change cycle and unwanted laptops hanging around. NDS will provide 50,000 KRW per month for managing your own laptop.
  • That said, it is not easy to make a decision to purchase a laptop, and we therefore provide some old but completely usable laptops for rental up to six months </aside>

How to

• Approach the director and the lap lead via DM in Slack with a simple message: e.g., I want to use X laptop from Y to Z.

• Once approved, change the status of the laptop below and leave the history in the details page.

  

• Once this is done, the lab lead will get you the laptop.

• Use it for up to six month, clean-install (Mac, PC, turn off FindMy in Mac), and return. </aside>
